This interactive story was an internal project at my first agency, six years ago. It was conceived to show how we can find the interesting in absolutely everything.
On Thegg Farm, in the village of Boremouth, the annual grass growing race is about to begin. A snoresome opening precludes, on-click, armed robbery, arson and the mystery of Nick Thegg's missing leg.
It's basically papercut Midsomer Murders for the Internet.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Intended as self-promotion for digital agency Impero, Boremouth is about translating something very boring (like an internal brand proposition) into something much more fun.
With the last 10% push I believe this project could have been really interesting, unfortunately resources simply weren't available for side-projects at the time. But Boremouth is something we are proud of, finished or not.
